Tuesday, February 19th at 9am marks the kick-off for the 17th annual Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest registration! Nervous? Giddy with anticipation? Us, too! Here are some helpful suggestions to make your registration easy-peasy! Registration is only online, but we are always happy to help at firstname.lastname@example.org or 509 548-0181 ext. 2 should you run into problems.
Steps to register
At 9am, the REGISTRATION button will appear in the upper right-hand corner of the Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest’s homepage. Click the button and it will take you to our registration page where you will find all of the trips listed, in order, by day of the week and trip number. The color coded days should make it quick to find the trips you are looking for.
Select each trip or class (session) that you would like to register for. It might be helpful to review the online schedule and make a list of first, second and third choices beforehand. You can find the most current (and correct) schedule HERE.
Need to register for more than one person? No problem! After you have selected your trips/ classes, you can “ADD A BIRD FEST PARTICIPANT” at the bottom of the registration page. You may add as many people as needed. You will then be able to select trips/ classes for the next participant(s). No worries- you all get to check out on one convenient billing section. Why did we switch from being able to click “quantity” on the tickets to each registrant selecting their own classes/trips? Because we want to make your experience better, of course! No more quantity mistakes, or trip confusion as each participant will have their own schedule.
Looking to register for the Sip and Paint? Register HERE, anytime! Please note that the Sip and Paint is the only event this year that takes you to a different registration page.
Activities that are listed as FREE in the program (Sleeping Lady Bird Walk, Black Bird Island Family Walk, Song Bird Concert, etc) do not require registration.
New This Year
At the top of the registration page you will find a tool bar that allows you to resend your confirmation, sign in to your account, or find contact information to easily reach us. On your receipt and confirmation you will find a link to create an account. This account puts you in the driver’s seat allowing access to your registration anytime, anywhere.
Wenatchee River Institute, the home of all things Bird Fest, is offering a discount to members this year. If you are not a member, you can be! Just go to Wenatchee River Institute’s webpage and become a supporter of the natural world, including school field days, great community programs… and Bird Fest! We have tried hard to keep trip/classes low for you and we appreciate your patronage!
Participant waivers and survey forms will be sent out electronically. Keep an eye out! One waiver per participant is required to enjoy the festival.
Thanks to North Central Washington Audubon, the festival is chock full of new trips, amazing art classes and social events, and a fabulous, world renowned birder, photographer and writer- Richard Crossley. All your favorites are there, too, like the Birder’s BBQ and the Birding by River Raft.
Here’s to a smooth registration…We hope you enjoy!
