Need something to round out your birding itinerary? Looking for some great casual birding in a stunning location? We are excited to add "Birding at Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery" to our list of trips and even more excited to be able to offer it on three different days!
Friday 9:30am-11:30am (trip F29A), Saturday 1pm-3pm(trip F29B), or Sunday7:30am-10am F29 C), join the hatchery’s own resident birder, Daniel Bressman, and enjoy this ADA accessible and beginner friendly walk. Plenty of diverse habitat with a special focus on White- headed woodpeckers! A festival favorite! The hatchery enjoys the scenic views of Icicle Creek and boasts extra goodies like the pollinator garden. If you are looking to check off several birds on your checklist in one fell swoop- this is a great way to do it! Plus, the hatchery is located close to town so no need to worry about missing out on other activities... or maybe some lunch!
